For the past few years, I have been wanting to give away a wedding package to a couple that is planning their big day. This past August I finally pulled the trigger and began to promote the giveaway. I was surprised at how many people entered for the chance to win a free wedding photography package! I had people who wanted to enter answer a questionnaire that I put together. You never know what you are going to get as far as the weather when you plan an outdoor wedding in October. Kansas has a way of keeping Brides and photographers on our toes! I normally watch the weather pretty close the week of a wedding and always am praying for sunshine with little to no wind. Our weather was seriously PERFECT ☀️

When I think back to Dallas and Chas’ wedding day there are a few things that immediately come to mind. The first thing was their decision to read their vows to one another after their first look. I have never photographed a couple doing this before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is becoming friends with our couples. Easton and Blair’s wedding was a little different for Lara and I though since we were already friends with them prior to photographing their wedding. Lara actually works with Blair!
