Let’s be honest, having your photos taken can feel extremely awkward! Add in being “lovey-dovey” and we have a recipe for awkward soup. As Emily, Brett, and I made our way to our first shooting location I asked them if they were nervous at all. They admitted they were a little nervous but that they were also excited. I make it a top priority to help my CCP Brides and Grooms feel comfortable in front of my camera and if I’m honest with you, I didn’t have to work very hard to help Emily and Brett be comfortable. These two are absolute pros in front of the camera! It’s not their posing ability that made them pros though, it was their ability to show their love for one another during our session that made them pros! There were so many moments of laughter during our time together. Taking Emily and Brett’s engagement photos was seriously a breeze.

From the time we started shooting, up until the very end, Brett had Emily laughing and giggling. Their love for one another is so very obvious! As we were wrapping up their session Emily asked if we could shoot at some of the tables at the park. She went on to share with me that her and Brett’s first date actually took place at tables similar to the ones right in front of us. Be sure to look for those images at the very end of this post!
