Lately, I’ve been thinking about how awesome my CCP Brides and Grooms are. Seriously, they are amazing and super sweet people! Shelby and James are no exception to that. Our session was filled with laughs and some pretty hilarious faces made by James 😂. These two wanted to shoot downtown and I was excited to do so! Naturally, we hit up a parking garage to capture some great views of the city!

After some time on the roof, we took to the streets. I hadn’t shot at these locations before so it was energizing to be in a new environment! Sometimes I can hit a creative wall if I shoot the same locations too often. If a couple is up for being a little adventurous and walking a little, I like to try new spots. Shelby and James had no problem with this at all. These two were pros in front of the camera!

At the end of our session, James said something that I had never really thought about before. We were saying goodbye and he said: “So I guess the next time will see you will be….in like a year?”. This bummed me out! As I mentioned earlier, my CCP brides and grooms are so awesome, it bums me out that we don’t get to hang out more often. I told James and Shelby that we should definitely get together for drinks or coffee before their big day. Problem solved 😄.
